Snail

Another spell of overnight rain, so now sunny spells, with a strong breeze initially. IT does feel very cool outside. On the lunch time walk, partner and I came across a snail on the pavement. Most snails seem to just curl up and sleep, resulting in unexpected crunches while walking. This one did have its head raised, which looked quite comical. However, by the time I had turned on the camera, and composed the picture, it had reverted to the slow crawl. But that does sum up the fact it is a slow day at work.

A couple of rain showers in the afternoon, but nice and dry for the afternoon walk for Friday afternoon coffee and cake. The breeze has dropped, but it is still a little cool. Rain showers are on the Met Office radar, but hopeful for an after coffee and cake walk home through the park.
