Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

JR has had a very productive today - she made bread AND ten jars of apple chutney. And still some apples left for apple crumble or apple cake.

JR then wanted to go and see the Dazzle exhibition, which is a yearly exhibition of contemporary jewellery. She just likes to look…

Archie and I accompanied her part of the way - to George Square, which during Festival time is transformed into a fun place with fringe venues and a Speigletent, bars, all sorts of food outlets and lots of seating and umbrellas. It was MOBBED on a sunny Saturday afternoon!

Archie and I walked home from there, and we passed very near the liver muffin caravan, from a different angle, and he didn’t realise!

If you’re wondering about the backdrop here - it’s an upside down cow’s head - the Underbelly, which is a HUGE purple blown up one used as a Fringe venue.
