Pack walk (Day 3393)

As is always the way, I was awake far too early this morning. There was little chance of me going back to sleep so I took Sigyn for a wander. Back home, the extractor fan in the bathroom made a bit of an odd noise then ceased to function. While a fresh pot of coffee was brewing I set about removing the fan and de-fluffing it. Once it was clean, it was really obvious that there was a tight spot in one of the bearings and I consigned the fan to the bin. After coffee I zoomed to town to collect a new fan. Another brief stop at home to collect Sigyn and some stuff before heading to Mum's. I left Sigyn at Mum's while I checked on and fed the horses.
Back to Mum's to cut the grass, and after lunch, Mum and I took the dogs to the shore. It is the first time Sigyn and Birsay have been out together and Sigyn seems to be softening slightly towards the pup. Birsay isn't up to long walks, so Sigyn and I left Mum (extra) and wandered a bit further. After coffee with Mum I went along to the horses again to dish out more hay and feeds. Unfortunately our little hay trailer decided to loose a stub axle and wheel half way round the field. After a bit of swearing and swapping the hay over to a much smaller trailer, I finished the hay run, then dragged the lame trailer away from the track where the horses would probably use it to hurt themselves.
I collected an exhausted Sigyn and headed home. Hopefully  my beautiful wife has had a less eventful day than me.
