Tin Tabernacles of 2024 #20

Canisbay Free Evangelical Church. Still in use and in great condition. From 1932 it was the continuing United Free Church and has been the FEC since the mid 20th century. 

The bed and breakfast boat worked very well. I had a bed (comfortable) and breakfast (hearty) but I didn't have much sleep which was annoying. We slid out of sunny Stromness just before 06:30 waving to Lady Findhorn as we went by. Drove east to Canisbay then, while Cameraman drove to Brora,  I had a snooze. 

The weather is horribly wet here. However the forecast isn't bad for later. We are bound for Lossiemouth and a bonus day of holiday. Glad we're not going all the way home on a wet A9. 

Orkney was wonderful. I will have some reflections on our island hopping holiday when I've drawn breath. Sad to leave.
