Golf Day

Fortunately for Arnie and I, we only attended the prize giving. I say fortunately as I know from experience that the organization of these events is exhausting.

These guys didn’t seem to mind getting the prize for the longest day though and the banter between them was great.

A fun evening, where lots of generous people dug deep to help us raise a lot of cash for the APD.

The MC in the background looked a bit glum in this photo, but he was brilliant at getting everyone involved, with a knack for auctioning fairly insignificant items for a lot of money, and that even included his own prize for his four ball coming first.

A wee bit of a bitter sweet night for our director, Rachel, as she is retiring at the end of next month. But she got the first of many celebrations still to come for being with the APD for over 30 years.
