A necessary blot

This morning we attended the village church for the funeral of a local young woman, the church was full with at least as many people again stood outside. There was a sound system set up for those of us out there. The weather gave us everything from heavy rain to warm sunshine.  A beautiful service, my heart goes out to all the family. 

Sited just along the road from here.  It says site office, canteen and WC although we are not sure who is using it, could be the hydro or men, not seen a woman yet, working on installing fibre optics.  I met three men a few days ago heading in at lunch time, it was pouring with rain at the time and we exchanged pleasantries about the weather, another time I will ask. 

A sad day, my walk later on was mostly dry,
