Up & Down

For most of the morning we hung around waiting to hear if a dear friend was in recovery after her scheduled surgery. After two hours I texted a mutual friend and learned her surgery had been delayed for almost two hours. Whew! The good news is it eventually went well and she doesn’t have to stay overnight • Then, while mowing, I found a large crow on the edge of the property. Dead. It broke my heart. After I finished MrsP and I relocated him to a more visible spot in hopes of feeding a predator. The circle of life. Both of us immediately thought of Lewis, the neighbor’s cat • My afternoon ended on a high note finding this pearl crescent butterfly on a zinnia. A first for me :) • Happy Weekend Y’all! Peace & Love
