Relief

It was a stormy night so I popped along this morning to check for damage at the allotment. All was well and the plants looked to have enjoyed a big drink of water.

I’ve put a photo in Extras of the shelter I built a few weeks ago. From the shelter I have a view of these sunflowers (which are on my newest plot) and the big hawthorn hedge which borders the allotment site. There’s usually plenty of birds to watch in the hedge - often gold finches, robins, sparrows, and sometimes long tailed tits and linnets.

Grateful:
- To sit in the community orchard in the warm sunshine.
- For Andy’s blackberry and apple sponge for pudding.
