Whernside and Ingleborough!

How did the weather start today? You guessed it...very damp! However, Matthew and I decided we were going to go ahead with our plans to bag two of the three Yorkshire Peaks today; Whernside and Ingleborough.

As we head up Whernside we were absolutely certain a view was out of the question...but just as we began the final part of the climb the clouds started to clear. What a treat and half!!

From there we retraced our steps down and then headed for Ingleborough. By this time the weather had sorted itself good and proper...actual sunshine!! Blowing a gale but to see blue skies was magical.

Two peaks bagged in a day, I'm pretty chuffed with that. :-)
