Tree surgeons

Another early start. Wed booked the 'tree surgeons to reduce the hedge as it had become a Colossus.  Too high for M to manage with the tools we had. 
They arrived early just as I was about to move the car  so it meant they had to move the huge truck with an enormous cherry picker on the back and another huge truck with the enormous shredding machine. Luckily there were not many neighnours cars parked outside. 
I'd arranged to take the car for its MOT at 9 pm . The garage is at the bottom of our road which is very convenient. When I got there the place was all locked up. So I parked and walked back home. Just as well I did as when I went back it was still locked up. Just as I was wondering if I'd have to find somewhere else the owner arrived. 
Back home and the men were well organised. One on the cherry picker was very agile but my heart was in my mouth when he left the platform and stood in the hedge! 
But they did a great job, tidied up really well and left at 11:30.  
Money well spent. 

I then collected the Rav ( it passed) and we took Fletch for a walk before it rained!
