Beauty is all around us.

Plants sheltering in the greenhouse.

The Feast Day of Saint Rose.

Today has been seriously earmarked by gusty, stormy wind. So much noise from the swirling wind.

I do not seek to over dramatise how strong these gusts have been, but in the context of our garden, a panel of plastic glass was blown down out of it's slot in the greenhouse framework.

I waited to go and buy our newspaper and Accrington Observer because I was afraid of being blown over or hit by debris. As it was, a big panel of wooden fence in Eachill had been felled by the wind. The hens in their pen seemed jittery. I feel sorry for them.

So Paul mended the broken greenhouse. We had not imagined this would happen, for the second time due to strong wind.

The blip shows the heucherella plants and Gazanias sheltering in the greenhouse from damage.

I hope calm weather resumes, but we shall have to cope somehow with whatever weather materialises.
Take good care and stay well blip friends.
Sorry it is a poor photo today.

The evening remained cold and sunny with a gentler breeze.
