Sculptured Head And Painted Head

Dalkeith Palace revisited.

Again many photographs were taken and it has taken some time to consider them all.

The Sculptured head is actually to a larger than size full body sculpture of The Duke of Wellington in a prominent at the main staircase.

The painted head is a detail of part of a much larger painting by Marc Mulholland entitled "Off Grid’.

The Duke of Wellington is not for sale, but the painting by Marc Mulholland probably is.

I understand that the exhibition/sale finishes this weekend. Not much time left to enjoy this exhibition.

Did we buy anything? No we did not. We are at that time in our lives where we should be selling some of our art collection in order to finance our life style.
