ho- humming a tune

This is the logo on a 7" single I bought last night at the gig, I like it.

Reminded me of Saturday night at the pub and some guy drunkenly taking the piss at my big earphones, I gave him a shot of them and stuck on some Teenage Fanclub for him to listen too as I was going to see one of the guys from the band at the gig last night, he got about a minute into the song before declaring "they sound like wet wet wet and they were pish"

cloth eared cunt. We concluded that these big earphones are in fact better than those tiny in ear things that don't stay in you ear.

I decided to put some cash in the jukebox picking a bit of soul music, as one of the auld yins passed me by going to the toilet and threatened requested I play some "auld songs", I assured him this was my plan, maybe not that was straying away from the Rod Stewart and Johnny Cash albums that were on repeat, more heading towards reet patite a-la Jackie Wilson.

Anyway I digress, the single I got was by Blue Rose Code, this was a solo performance in the support slot, but I left impressed by his voice and guitar skills, and general songwriting ability.
