New Bridge

In an attempt to regain some level of fitness, I have been out on my bike a few times over the past week. A new cycle (sorry, multi-user) track has been opened between Peebles and Innerleithen and, not only is it nearly level as it follows the Tweed, it is tarred for most of its length. The following-the-Tweed bit is one of its main attractions, as the scenery is beautiful. As is this elegant new bridge that has been erected to cross the river. I'm enjoying being back on a bike, though my back is no longer flexible enough for my road racer, so it was traded in today for a lightweight super-smooth hybrid. Sitting more upright has the added advantage of being able to enjoy the view in relative comfort.
