Changeable Weather

There's a saying on Shetland (allegedly) - if you don't like the weather, just wait a few minutes and it'll change.

The south end of Shetland saw a rich variety of weathers today - from torrential rain (when I was on Quendale Beach) via sunshine, blue skies and strong winds (while I was at Sumburgh Head - see photograph), through to clouds and showers later in the day.

And I did see a few puffins while I was at Sumburgh - all at a distance, some on the water, some in the air - don't think I've seen puffins this late in August before!
