Coal Tit

I don't put out bird seed during the summer months but after the recent days of dreadful weather I decided to give the wee birds a treat.

It takes about a day for the word to get around the the feeders are full. This afternoon the birds were queuing up to get their wee claws wrapped round the perches.

My weekly trips to the local pet shop for bird seed and peanuts will begin again very soon.
