Biddulph Grange Garden

This lovely NT property just north of Stoke on Trent has regularly featured in my journal.

Today I had a lovely reunion with a friend I first met over 20 years ago in Greece, and later spent a super holiday in China with her. We’ve met up in London from time to time, but today she travelled over from Buxton and we explored the garden together.

My blip is of the section known as Egypt.  The Victorians had interesting perspectives on exotic lands as in the often blipped “China” (extra).

I also note that the dahlia walk is in full bloom (other extra)

As you can see, we were dodging downpours……
