What a difference a year makes
It was early June last year when I butchered the hedge under our front window, now a year later . . . I’ve been trimming it regularly, but it still has some filling out to do.
Likewise the cherry tree sapling in our front garden. The was just a small shoot from a cherry tree runner that got dug out when I butchered the hedge, so I buried planted it where the apple tree had been. We had buds in February, and now look at it.
Green finger day potting up the mint and rosemary we bought on Tuesday. Mrs W’s RA is playing up at the moment so she was supervising.
One of our neighbours presented us with a carrier bag full of plumbs yesterday, so guess who will be seeing to those – and my next job is . . .
