Childhood memories

Worked much of the day, in amongst the builder and floor layer disruptions. Ate lunch and dinner out. The evening meal at a local (ish) pub The Gun was ok but it was interesting to see this meat slicer decorating a table in the lobby. It very much reminds me of my childhood - my grocer parents had one of these in each of their grocery shops. My Mum once sliced the top of her thumb off using it. When I was old enough to use it I made sure I had the guard down.
