Spot the Dog……

There was a crisp frost this morning and a clear golden sky in the east. I captured the sun just peeping above the horizon and splashing gold on the river. Can you see the dog? My little recovering junkie of a dog, Maisie is now pretty well back to normal. She went to the groomers yesterday and came home looking fresh and beautiful….. thanks to Sally and Terry.
Friend Lynette visited today. We decided that the westerly breeze was much too cold for serious gardening. So we sat in the sunshine out of the wind and put the world to rights. Then lunched indoors. This evening I gathered dry firewood in the wheel barrow and stored it on the garage under cover. Heavy rain is predicted in the “top of the South” tomorrow . It will be a day for mainly indoors.
