Snape Maltings

A day of writing and then it was off to the Suffolk coast for the late afternoon and to Snape Maltings and the Britten Pears theatre. This is a lovely location with the reeds and Barbara Hepworth sculptures and the concert hall itself is made of wood. and has fabulous acoustics. Had a pint in the Plough and Sail and then in to watch a concert by the Irish folk band Altan, who I have been listening to on vinyl/CD and live for over 30 years. A lovely evening and then drove home late.
