I wondered why all the birds had disappeared.  Then I spotted the Sparrowhawk on the ground.  Haven't seen one on the ground before, they are usually on a branch or on top of a feeder.  No birds were taken on this occasion.  Well its certainly been a horrible day, very wet and very windy.  Very cold too so layers back on.  Hoping the forecast for 80 mph wind overnight is incorrect.
