More nostalgia!

The wonderful Eel Pie Island in Twickenham. Potted history here. It was a dilapidated hotel on a small island which had been used for many things but became a music venue in the 60s. I spent many happy evenings here dancing on its strangely bouncy floor and listening to some great groups.

The Eel Pie Island  museum recalls these happy days , and is well worth a visit.
