A walk in the rain

The forecast for today was dire and it wasn’t wrong, although strange to say I had a pleasant enough time when out walking. My shoes and coat coped exceptionally well, the new wet weather trousers bought on Sunday felt fine until walking into driving rain, the weak area is where the hem of my coat made contact with trousers. 

A quiet day dealing with household things, it’s lovely to have the cats lounging around and I had to give in and light the fire, not that it was hard. 

Tiggy played with the tower and toys this morning, it is a treat to see her like this.
