At the allotment I sowed more radish and a row of red veined salad leaves, and then I scattered alfalfa seeds onto a vacant bed to see what it's like!

Into the back garden this afternoon to plant the fennel and lovage plants I got last week. They were so cheap, it being the end of the season, that it doesn't really matter if they survive or not, but I rather think they will. My raspberry canes haven't done well this year with only six new canes for next year, and the leaves have been eaten. I was going to take them to the allotment, but they could be very old plants as they came with the house and I don't think it's worth it. Better to start again.
