checking in

Dan and Varnika are flying home today.  He's finalising the checking in details, while they wait for the taxi to take them to the airport.  

I say taxi - it's actually a mini-bus.  Dan bought two new surfboards while they were here and they're too long to fit into a car.  Not with their five suitcases as well.

The time - two months - has flown by.  All the things we planned to do and never found time for, will have to wait until next time.  It's some consolation, I guess.  

We're going to miss them.
