Coinneach

We can now confirm that we have a cockerel and his name is Coinneach (Kenneth)!

He’s a Scots Dumpy and he should have shorter legs like the other two we have, but he bucks the trend. They are a rare breed and the longer legged ones tend to hatch more easily.

He’s still quite young but is going to be a big lad!

Rowan has been tasked with trying to keep him relatively tame by picking him up so he’s used to being handled, which she loves doing anyway. She also says he smells like corn and poop.
