Not All It's Cracked Up To Be

Yes, it's the Kissing Trees again.

This time, a macro of some encrusting lichen has been used to impart a 'crackle' effect.

For those that don't know, the 'kissing trees' are a local landmark near Kinghorn/Kirkcaldy in Fife. A pair of sycamore trees straddle a minor country road and their upper branches meet high above the lane.  They stand out as a landmark because there are no other trees nearby.
