STROMNESS TAPESTRY

We were in the Library again this afternoon.   I learned that we are permitted to borrow up to 12 items each, that goes for books, cds, dvds, jigsaws and games.  Also ebooks, but I'm not sure how that works.
Anyway, after I chose my four books, I had time to have another look at "The Big Stromness Tapestry".  It was made by weavers at Northlight Studio; local people were invited to complete a small part of the work.  It had just been finished in 2015 when my husband and I arrived in Stromness, so I didn't get a chance to make a contribution. 

We had good weather most of the day but we were hit with a couple of showers this afternoon.  And a rainbow (extra).
