The butter boat.

Last time we were here we realised we could see the DFDS ferry from the Tyne to the Netherlands going past. I spotted it this evening again so thought I’d capture it. In the extra you can see the view from our caravan - the Abbey on the right, and just in the distance the butter boat on the left.

Went into Whitby this morning to get kippers to take home, had lunch at Falling Foss Tea Garden, took the awning down, and tidied the car up inside, then we’ve had very good fish and chips for tea. It has been a lovely sunny day, a bit blustery, but blue sky overcomes that!
