Good deed for today

I went for a walk before starting work and as I walk past a nearby hen run I noticed this female sparrowhawk stuck inside the pen, The hens were not happy. I couldn't see a way to release it so went back to my home office to start my Carbon literacy course.
In my lunch break I went back to check and it was still stuck there so with the help of a neighbour we opened the run door and managed to get it out. It looked a bit shocked but after a rest and a few photos it flew away. Extras of it in a the pen and a close up of it's lovely eye, you can see it has a small injury from the fence
I completed my course by the end of today, lets hope I passed. Weather mostly torrential rain.
