Dahlia ......

...... and it's not quite as wet as it would have been had I taken the photo in the afternoon.

There is a bed of dahlias, all colours, sizes and petal formation, planted just outside the veggie garden. The blooms with the very large heads have suffered with the heavy rain and strong winds and although they are still fixed to the stakes their heads are hanging low.
