Frog-Eye

A very nice example of a 1960 Austin-Healey Mk 1 Sprite - affectionately known as the "frog-eye" for obvious reasons.
It was a completely unique design and BMC (British Motor Corporation) produced if from 1958 to 1961 when they replaced it with the much more conventionally designed Mk II.
I had the MG version (Midget) which I loved (See Extra).  Me & Mrs MD toured the whole of Ireland (South and North) in it on a two week holiday in 1968.   Happy days :-)
