Splash of colour

This is one of a meagre number of flowers left in the Infants' flower beds at school. It was recently bursting with different poppies, cornflowers and other 'wildflowers' which they seeded months back.
I nipped down to look again after school today but the dry weather hasn't been kind and lots of them are looking brown and most of the different poppies are now seed heads. But this amazing looking bright coloured flower head was there waiting for me!
Last day of kids tomorrow - yay! - although to be fair I had a great time creating a map and flags competition for my year 4's last geography lesson today!
