This is a shark

I took the day off and had a glorious time. This included going to my favorite museum, the American Visionary Art Museum, in Baltimore. It was closed because it is Monday. Doh! Ok, fine, I went to the Aquarium. Baltimore has a very cool aquarium. I carefully touched a horseshoe crab and a jellyfish. 

This is a shark. I know it is a shark because one of the docents came over and told me. I have no idea what kind of shark. 

Ukraine wants to join the EU. To join the EU they have to get corruption under control. They have been working hard and making progress. As an example, they just detained a deputy energy minister after he received a $500,000 bribe. The idea was that he and his accomplices would help smuggle coal mining equipment. 


Russia treats their people like an expendable resource but they are having manpower shortages. They are thinking of a new mobilization to make up for losses. They have more attractive recruitment bonuses but regional Russian officials are on average failing to meet more than a third of their recruitment quotas. 


Ukraine destroyed a third bridge over the Seym River in the Kursk region.
