The Numptycat

Indie on top of a wall-mounted cabinet in the bathroom, deciding not to jump down. She gets up by climbing up a dressing gown on a hook at side, and summiting, and gets down by stepping out on top of the door and leaping down. She is forever staring down on us, like a bird of prey on a high perch. Fortunately she has a friendly disposition towards humans. 

I worked in my former home surgery today, as we were interviewing for another SP. Several more interviews to go, still. It was good to be back in the office/cupboard with enough space to work. The interviews were held in another room, obviously. 

Walked over to the Town Surgery after lunch (sandwiches, crisps and treats have been restored at my home surgery for the lunchtime meetings, after a failed attempt at economising. One of the GPs told me there had been 'a heated debate' on the subject. 

Caught the bus home at the end of day, and narrowly avoided being rained upon. Feels like autumn today: wind shaking the trees, a spatter of rain.
