I popped out at lunch time to grab a sandwich and passed the pet shop so popped in.  I brought a lovely soft tennis ball sized ball for Albie (the dog) and a toy for Buzz (the kitten).  The ball didn't last long as you can see but he got a great deal of enjoyment out of destroying it.  The cat toy got confiscated as Albie kept stealing it from Buzz and I didn't want catnip going all over the floor.  They are so funny together.  They potter around calmly until one launches at the other, then a mad wrestle takes place for a minute or two and then normal businesses resumes.   Both seem to enjoy playing with each other.  All is calm now and they are both asleep.  I wish I could say the same for the children...
