Not Quite A Mountain

Heather and gorse on the mountain were a feast for the eye today. I say mountain, it's more of a hill at only 780 feet, but you feel the incline and it has mountain in the name.

As afternoon passed into evening and the sun dropped in the sky, bright, but hazy light, brought out the colours.

Hard to photograph the expanse, but this patch worked well against dark green pines.
