hoverflies

Around a potentilla flower. There were 4 of them but by the time I’d persuaded the camera to focus 2 of them had buzzed off. Had to do a Morrisons shop this morning as we’d run out of a few everyday items. And I had to go for a pneumonia vaccination at 5.30 this afternoon, so not a lot done today. Browsing round the internet this afternoon - still on the lookout for some nice material to re-cover a dainty little armchair we have. Found some gorgeous velvet but it was a tad expensive.
