Hemerocallis fulva

This our Hemerocallis fulva -lily does not bloom every year, despite fertilization, and when it does bloom, the flowers do not last long. Only one day, mostly. 

Yesterday I noticed that he had already made the big buttons, and today the "crumpy old lady" started to glow!

One flower only for this one day. No one knows if it will bloom more this year. 

Four years ago it flowered for the last time.


We had our first bicycle trip today with hubby after his accident in early june. 15km route, it was lovely warm day.
