The other day she was catching up on her local history, today she's checking out the maps for holy wells! Rua is most helpful and persistent in her advice and pretty relaxed about map reading!  I reckon she's having a larf. (discreetly),

A blooming awful day weather-wise, serious rainfall and wind. I resorted to planning. First up still working on the next NZ trip - complicated - and then for a bit of relief - the next fieldtrip. We are heading out to  County Tipperary next week with Finola and another couple of friends. Luckily Himself is insured to drive Finola's car (yes, the car situation rumbles on but hopefully we might have some news tomorrow) so transport won't be a problem. We are staying in the glen of Aherlow and there will be wells!
The rain eased a bit at around 3pm and we dashed around the circuit and got so sweaty we had to have a swim. The water was quite bouncy!
