I stopped briefly at the car park by the prom to see whether there were some blippable birds on the beach and saw various groups all blending in with the rock and seaweed. These are turnstones.

I've been trying to clean up an old dressing table that's been in the garage and was just looking up how to get rid of particular marks on it when sister A1 messaged to say she'd just been standing behind Jay Blades in a queue at Waverley Station in Edinburgh. He would have known how to do it.
