A Very Damp Day in Kirkwall
First thing I was up to get breakfast for Dawn, Malcom and Russel. After everything was put past, and I’d pushed the Dustbuster to melt down, I went into Kirkwall for dancing. The ladies at dancing couldn’t believe I was unaccompanied. After dancing I bought some milk and some coal (it’s some recipe). I’d just come out of McCleod’s Passage*, when I met two Blippers giggling in Albert Street (actually I accosted them) . Lady Findhorn and Poppy. We enjoyed some light banter. I am no fashion guru, but I do think (especially given the wet and windy day) that the very short length of their skirts was inadvisable. They asked if they could come along and ‘do for me’ in the absence of CMC. They even offered their cabaret. Apparently they can both get the tassels to twirl in different directions. Thankfully I had one of my tablets with me. Back at HQ Martin and Jackie arrived from Lauder. I also had an unannounced visit from Alan, Erika, Phoebe, Matilda and Violet. The dinner gong has just sounded. Now, where are those monkey gland tablets.
*As you all now, in the day and age that we live in, many other passages are available.
