Its been rather an expensive day.  My car passed its MOT thankfully but not without spending money on two new rear tyres and having the brake fluid renewed (and lots of other advisories :( ), which together with MOT fees and a service...came to just under an eye watering £400 :(  

The advisories mentioned have never occured before with this car.....

I'm not going anywhere except work (and food shopping/petrol) for the next couple of weeks at least now....

So I forked out rather a lot on a delicious breakfast of salmon and scrambled eggs with a black coffee - they came lovely and hot - but the cafe I went into did not put the prices on the menu, and you paid at the counter, so I really had no choice..  I won't got there again.

Then I paid for taxi fare to Greys Court, thinking I'd a few hours to spare but due to the phone signal being so poor - and the garage trying to call me around 9 times, but it kept breaking up - I ended up going back into Henley and hiding out in a Costa, with a pot of mint tea...

A whopping 9,493 steps walked today (using my crutch support) - but unfortunately to the detriment of a lot of pain in my knee :(:(  

Glad to be home, in pjs now and relaxing :)

Back to work tomorrow!!
