Creature!

A creature from the deepest ocean depths!  No it is simply a seed a kind of thistle, maybe a creeping thistle.  This is a back Blip from the weekend as the weather has returned to cloud, rain and wind.  Another grey summer's day!  The background has been darkened in Lightroom, but that is all of the editing.  I took the photo using a lightbox with the light coming from top left.  I think it looks like a delicate fan.
