Feeding junior

The birds haven't returned to the garden yet, just the occasional visitors on the feeders.  It was lovely to see this female greenfinch in the garden, she had brought a young fledgling with her which was still at the flapping wings stage. 

Perhaps the windy and showery weather has made it more difficult to find food in the wild.
