A Welcome Cooler Day in Blanes

A cloudy day in Blanes today. It was very pleasant though and meant we could walk more, clocking up 15,000 steps.

A call to wish my dear brother busboy a happy birthday in the morning. I woke him up (sorry, busboy!), so it’s just as well I didn’t sing happy birthday to him!

Morning walk, breakfast, coffee, word puzzles and reading. A bonus mid-morning walk in the other direction because of the lack of sun and then back to Cal Tony’s for lunch of a shared asparagus salad starter and baked sea bass - delicious and one portion is enough for two - at least for us. We then had a passion fruit ice cream cone from the popular shop along the road.

Rest and reading in the afternoon and then a snack in The Shack at night. The second shot today is from ‘our’ area downstairs in the hotel where we sit and read, enjoying the sea view.
