And Then Something Magical Happens

This morning I was convinced that I would post a picture from the top of Chapin Pass looking down, as a bookend to the picture looking up at Chapin Pass.

Then on the way to the trailhead, Randall and I happened upon these four gents. And yes, three were spoiling for some head-butting.

This is the closest I've ever see big horn sheep, and let me tell you: the horns on these guys make them look like NFL linebackers! For a few moments we worried that they'd decide to head butt the truck instead of each other.

Randall said he'd be ok with that; a head-butt dent makes a better story than a dent from a grocery cart at the local supermarket.
