2024 Monday — Back to School

The four great-grands all started school today. The two youngest, RJ and Emillia, both entered kindergarten; Jade heads into 3rd grade; and Tristan begins his senior year of high school.

In early November our newest great grand will make her entrance into this family. These are exciting days.

P.S. We enjoyed a very spontaneous phone call this afternoon from our friend Debi (& Mike) asking us “to come right now!” to a neighborhood evening potluck dinner at their neighbor Elaine & Bob’s home. Well, lo and behold, I know Elaine from Women’s Bible Study at MBPC. We had lots of fun, good food, and felt accepted just like we lived in their Cayucos neighborhood; we actually live about a mile from them. It was so fun and we met Dave & Amanda Nygren (they’ve been married 2 weeks).
