Fondant for bees

Arkle and finn walked.

Football this morning I had a full car of parents and players.

Only 2 teams and we had 2 but we played and they were great.

Picked up fondant for winter bee feed if they need it.

Dogs walked with eco mum.

Over to Allotment bees to do a talk on honey bees and how I look after them. A good turnout and great questions. I was shattered afterwards. Lovely home baking made by plotholders using honey I supplied.

Dinner with eco mum.

Headed to out apiary. I needed to sort a couple of hives.

First nuc had been robbed out so put in a nuc from a hive. The next hive was busy so left in a hive.

Queenless split now a drone layer so did not merge and will deal with later.

Sealed up the nuc on the old shooting high chair and brought down and put in car for a beekeeper to collect tomorrow.

Dropped of bees and equipment at Allotment apiary.
